Beyonce Has 'A Quite Strong Part' In Peter Berg's 'Battleship'

For many, the inclusion of celebrity Beyonce in Peter Berg's approaching "Battleship" sticks out like a strange choice. Not for Berg, though. The director spoken with MTV News lately and stated that he's surprised that "nobody had every considered to employ Beyonce" before he earned the phone call. "I had been an enormous fan of her videos," Berg told MTV at Toy Fair now. "Clearly she's sexy, but she'd this real intensity. I am like, 'Someone's getting her.'
