Who Won The Glee Project? Discover Who's Joining the Glee Cast (There's a Twist!)
Damian, Samuel, Alex, Lindsay After nine days of competition, including singing both transcendent or painful, an initial hug, a declined hug, bad rapping, a whole lot worse dancing plus some superb drag, The Glee Project champion continues to be crowned. The Glee Project runners up seem off on Christianity, reality TV editing and Ryan Murphy Who'll be enrolling at McKinley High (not less than seven episodes)? Adorable Irish kid Damian? Intense indie rocker Samuel? Musical theater darling Lindsay? Energy belter Alex? Here's the way it went lower: Their homework assignment would be to sing "Don't' Stop Believin'" for Ryan Murphy. Following a couple of seconds, Ryan is unhappy. Where's the choreography? Oh stop, he just needed a reason to welcome back another nine rivals who've recently been removed. The runners up have backup performers! Awesome. Our runners up are extra serious, and Alex throws in certain diva riffs. Jogs my memory from the pilot, with a lot more red-colored t shirts. Nobody wins a job - so nobody comes with an advantage starting the ultimate challenge. For that music video, they will be seeing a helipad atop an extremely tall building. Ryan wants the runners up to become "vulnerable, emotional and inspiring" as you possibly can while singing ... Pink's "Lift Up Your Glass." They rehearse with Zach after which it's in to the recording studio with Nikki. This time around they will be became a member of by Nikki's husband, Adam, the executive music producer for Glee. Lindsay's first, and Adam dubs her "not versatile" but adds that they "sounds good." Damian sets loose his inner rock star and nails it. Samuel struggles a lot more than Lindsay, that is strange for him. Alex's "come-on-ands" earn him the session's gold star. (Also-rans? You end up being the backup performers!) Basically needed to refer to it as at this time, I'd say Damian's first got it within the bag. However, there is the video shoot - also known as time when mentors Robert, Nikki and Zach reach whisper about how exactly the participants do. They ponder each one of the finalists' issues aloud: Will Samuel ruin his chances when you are stuck in the mind? Has been adorable enough for Damian to clinch victory? Will Lindsay form a personality that Ryan can email? Can Alex be professional and concentrate on his job consistently? Does not matter, because you're ready to observe how they did within the finished "Lift Up Your Glass" video. Who had been minimal embarrassing? Not Bryce. (Incidentally, how did he even result in the Top 13?! Awww, miss you Emily and Marissa.) Really, this may be the least embarrassing video yet. Dare we are saying the other half, shot from the L.A. skyline during the night, was awesome? OK, awesome for that Glee Project. For his or her final performances, the ultimate four reach choose their tunes. Before we see them sing, we're informed with that Cameron continues to be chosen the fan favorite by audiences. OK then. Departing it at this. Lindsay sings "Gimme Gimme" from Completely Modern Winnie because she gets it'll show Ryan her vulnerable side. She does much better than she's done the whole season - but it is also crystallized that she's a musical theater girl. Large pipes, large theatrical acting. She can't sing pop - or perhaps be subtle. Unsure which will work. For Glee, you need to have the ability to sing Top 40. Also, the show already includes a Rachel. Damian's up next with "Past the Ocean" by Bobby Darin. Nikki told him earlier that he isn't the very best singer or actor, so his challenge is to outshine your competition. Predictably, he's just a little cheesy, super adorable, and incredibly funny. He's the Irish Finn. That may operate in his favor. Samuel's "Jolene" by Dolly Parton is really as great as his performance a week ago of "Funny Valentine," that they had never heard! The idol judges are amazed. No a person's questioning Samuel can sing. He's giving Damian a run, and I'd wager on one of these winning. Alex arrives like a lady - although a with taste outfitted, conservative one that might be on her behalf method to Sunday service - and per usual, he lowers the home singing "I'm Altering" from Dreamgirls. How come he always seem great within the last-chance round but so-so within the recording booth with Nikki? Idol judges are bowled once again. Ryan wants to be aware what yesteryear rivals and also the guest mentors - Darren Criss and Harry Shum Junior. amongst others - think. All runners up have cheerleaders one of the group. So when the idol judges confer, they speak cordially about all of them, too. Ultimately, however, Ryan's making the phone call, and that he selects ... Well, he removes Alex and Lindsay first. Will Ryan choose Damian, beloved by all? Or Samuel, who's got the "it" factor? Twist! Ryan selects Samuel ... And that he also selects Damian! This will make me happy. And what's this? Alex and Lindsay will also get two-episode arcs? Appears like Ryan is feeling extra generous. Nobody manages to lose about the Glee Project. I'm able to fall behind that. What have you think about the finale? Are you currently happy both Samuel and Damian won? Are you currently glad that Lindsay and Alex may also be making looks? Tell us within the comments below.
